TomorrowWorld is just upon the dawning of their third year, and the US festival continually sets the bar one notch higher each year. Despite the rise of tropical house, the festival has yet to host a stage specifically for the sun-soaked genre. TomorrowWorld announced that Australian tropical kingpin, Thomas Jack, will be hosting his own stage called Thomas Jack Presents.
The festival still has yet to reveal who he will have onboard, but with his tastemaking expertise endorsed by Pete Tong, the friends he will be playing with should be nothing short of stellar. In addition to the announcement, the Aussie house artisan forged an exclusive mix to celebrate the exciting stage announcement. Floating through tribal and tropical territories throughout the hour, this mix will take you straight into the island mindset with the help of Bakermat, Cassimm, and other tasteful house picks. To help attendees cope with the post-Tomorrowland Brasil blues, Elite Daily and T-Mobile teamed up with the festival to release a special short film following two festival-goers from their daily lives into the realm of Tomorrow and back to reality.
The short film also debuts three unreleased tracks: “Portland” by an unidentified producer, “Wake Up” by Jay Hardway, and “Zero Gravity” by Borgeous featuring Lights — all of which are sure to be heard at the forthcoming Tomorrowland in Belgium and TomorrowWorld in Georgia. If that’s not enough, the video was released alongside a TomorrowWorld contest for fans to win an all-inclusive VIP package for four including passes, two Easy Tents, and a helicopter tour of the grounds at the festival in September.
