Otto Knows is a Swedish DJ and music producer who has a number of hits in Sweden, Belgium and the Netherlands. Otto Knows first fell for house music when he turned 16 years old and explored Stockholm’s wealth of underground dance clubs. He set out to become a DJ, but in later years he hung with Aviici and the members of Swedish House Mafia, who influenced him to try his hand at remixing. His remix of Imogen Heap’s “Hide and Seek” climbed the dance charts in 2010, the same year that Otto joined Aviici and Oliver Ingrosso on their collaborative single “iTrack.” A successful remix of Dada Life’s “Kick Out the Epic Motherfucker” followed in 2011, and in 2012 he launched his own solo career with the single “A Million Voices.”
The track dominated EDM clubs across Europe and crossed over to the pop charts in Belgium, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. He has collaborated with artists including Britney Spears, Avivii, Sebastian Ingrosso, Alesso and has made remixes for ATB, Imogen Heap, and many others. Otto Knows is undoubtedly the next in a line of explosive new talent to emerge from the Refune Records stronghold. He is quickly becoming one of Sweden’s most popular exports, the next in the country’s rich lineage of musical talent. Stay tuned for upcoming events and shows featuring the talented DJ, Otto Knows. Highlighting a charged path from Moscow to Miami, the Russian innovative trio who amplify the progressive and electronic house sound are known as Swanky Tunes. The group formed in 1998, experimenting with different electronic styles in pursuit of their own sound. At first, there were techno sounds mixed with vintage synthesizers. Then the group moved into a distinctly big-beat influenced sound. These days, hints of the techno, electro-80’s, and the contemporary progressive house movements are all finding their way into the mix. With their uplifting anthemic sound, the Smolensk based music pioneers deliver dance floor bangers to nightclubs and festivals around the globe. Whether it be in the studio, on stage, or the global music charts, the Showland label headliners are at the forefront of electronic dance music.
Swanky Tunes have performed on worldwide stages including Laidback Luke’s Super You & Me at Tomorrowland, Sensation White, Ultra Music Festival, Global Gathering, Electric Daisy Carnival and more. Swanky Tunes have also performed at Tiësto’s Club Life at Pacha Ibiza, the Swedish House Mafia One Last Tour, and Avicii’s Le7els tour. In addition, Swanky Tunes also held down a residency at XS Las Vegas. Of all the exciting new house sounds coming out of the East these days, Swanky Tunes ranks among the most note worthy. Swanky Tunes were named ‘Best Musical Group’ in 2006 and 2007 at the Russian Dance Music Awards and they are currently ranked #14 among the Top 100 DJs of Russia. Internationally, their tracks and remixes have been issued on Mixmash, Spinnin’ Records, Refune, Size Records and Cr2 Records. Swanky Tunes last releases have been heavily supported by: Tiesto, David Guetta, Sandern Van Doorn, Swedish House Mafia (Axwell, Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingross), Laidback Luke and Dirty South.
